Mrinalini Tyagi and Usha Nadkarni
Balaji Telefilms’ Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV has been one of the most successful and long running shows on India television in recent times. And two of its most renowned cast members Mrinalini Tyagi (Teju) and Usha Nadkarni (Savita Tai) are all set to take Durban by storm. Yes, Mrinalini and Usha have been invited to perform at an event called Dhinka Chinka Nite in the picturesque city. Apart from the Pavitra performers (no pun intended), the event will also have comedian Shashika Mooruth. Mrinalini will dance on a medley and Usha will entertain the audience with her accent and jokes. Says Mrinalini, “I am excited to be a part of the show. Usha Tai and me will be leaving tomorrow; we have shows on 15 and 16 and will be back on 17 September and resume shooting for Pavitra Rishta.” “Talking about the dance preparations, Mrinalini further avers, “Since they knew that I love dancing, the event organizers sent me the DVD of the medley. I prepared myself after going through the content of it, but unfortunately got no time for rehearsals. I am happy that I would be able to be among my fans in Durban. It feels great.” Rock the stage Mrinalini and Usha Tai!
