To quit or not to quit Uttaran...Rashmi in a fix
First the media reported that Rashmi Desai aka Tapasya has decided to move on and wave goodbye to the show that gave her popularity, Uttaran on Colors, produced by Film Farm Productions. However, later Tellychakkar.com reported the exclusive dope along with Pintoo Guha’s (of Film Farm) confirmation that Rashmi is just on a month’s leave and will soon get back to entertaining fans.
And since then, the question has been looming large whether the leading lady will be seen again in Uttaran or not. Guess what? Rashmi is herself not sure about it.
“All I can say is that I am currently on a break. I am soon going to get married and have lots of preparation to do. Once the wedding is over, I will decide to get back with Uttaran or not,” informs Rashmi wearing a smile.
Hmm…fair enough. Furthermore, what about the reports of the production house knocking on the door of CINTAA to deal with the issue? “I have no idea about it and no one has contacted me from CINTAA. I have been in the industry for more than nine years now and I won’t do anything that will hurt my show or its producer.”
We respect that Rashmi. And she further clarifies about the other allegation wherein she has been accused of shooting for another show on Sahara One without informing Film Farm.
“I did Comedy Circus while shooting for Uttaran. Similarly, I did just an episodic for a show on Sahara One. It was only a three day schedule. I can’t talk much about it but I don’t think it is an issue at all.”
Finally, she shares that she wanted to quit the show quite earlier. “The character of Tapasya started affecting me in my real life. But the production house was kind enough to make necessary changes as and when required. But after a certain point in time, you realise that moving on is the best option,” ends the lovely lady.
Rashmi, all we know is that your fans will miss you dearly if you move out of Uttaran!!!
