Ever since Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 5 on Colors hit the airwaves, amongst the two anchors, namely Manish Paul and Ragini Khanna, the former has been the centre of attention. There have been rumours that Ragini has been overshadowed by Manish’s superb display of anchoring in the series. When quizzed Ragini on the same, she stated, “I don’t want to comment on it as the recording of the show is over (finale will be telecast over the weekend). All I will say is that we can’t go beyond our given lines. I had a good time anchoring Jhalak (my first ever hosting assignment). I have learnt a lot. I have always enjoyed working with the production house BBC Worldwide (her second stint with them). They are a through professional outfit to work with.” Furthermore when asked about who amongst the three finalists i.e. Gurmeet Choudhary, Rashmi Desai Sandhu and Rithvik Dhanjani should win this Colors’ dance competition, she stated, “I would prefer Gurmeet to win as he was there right from the start. The others came in later as wildcard entries. I personally feel that those contestants who have been performing from the start have a disadvantage, when compared to wild cards, as being around for long enhances the chance of being burnt out.” Looking ahead, this beautiful actress shared, “I am looking for fresh assignments. I don’t want to take a break. For the moment I would prefer to do films rather than TV.” However, that does not mean that she will give up TV. “I have always done edgy roles. I can’t play a conventional sweet bahu or if I at all take a bahu role, I will make her go crazy as well,” ended Ragini flashing her million dollar smile.
