Rajshri-Sharad in Shree

After playing lead roles in Saat Phere its time for them to play God. Sharad Kelkar and Rajshri Thakur will enter Zee TV’s Shree as God Shiv and Goddess Parvati on Monday, June 1.

First producer JD Majethia roped in Vibha Anand to play the bhootani’s role, then Madhumita as Bindiya (Shree’s cousin sister), Aroona Irani as the dead mother, then Tanaz Currim last week and now Sharad Kelkar and rajshri Thakur for the coming week.

The show started off well but somewhere the ratings stagnated. After unveiling the bhootani’s secret the TRPs stabilised.

It is also heard that Rajshri hasn’t charged a single penny for this.

Ajay Bhalwankar, Programming Head, Zee TV said, “Yes it’s true that we have roped in Sharad and Rajshri to play Shiv- Parvati. They are a very popular on-screen couple since past four years. Viewers idolise them and wish to see them once again together after their exit in Saath Phere.”
