Sachin Sharma to direct American reality show

Television actor Sachin Sharma is going international, with his directorial debut for an American Production House. Sachin will be directing a reality show and also starring as a Celebrity judge along with such international stars like celebrity trainer Craig Ramsay, supermodel James Ellis and Miss Jamaica 2005 Daisi Pollard. There is also buzz that International Pop star cum fashion designer Gwen Stefani and Lady Gaga will be part of the show.

After Zee TV’s Mega Challenge it’s now the turn of Star Plus. The channel is all set to make a music based reality show with celebrated singers from music based reality shows across channels. The show is produced by Gajendrra Siingh’s Saibaba Telefilms and is tipped to launch in December. This is going to be a big ticket show and according to sources, Star Plus is pinning its hope on it to generate the much needed TRPs during the weekends. According to the source, the show boasts of some famous music directors like Himesh Reshammiya, Shankar Mahadevan, Mika and Mohit Chauhan.

What do you when you’ve over exposed yourself on Hindi GECS? Well, it’s time to look at newer avenues. Often regional channels prove haven for monotonous celebs. Well known choreographer Saroj Khan and Shweta Tiwari are now heading to popular Bhojpuri channel Mahua.

“Mahua TV is set launch their first dance reality show. Saroj Khan and Shweta Tiwari have been signed as the judges while Ravi Kissen will host the show. The title isn’t finalised yet. This is an in-house production.”

A reality show which is called Exhausted is self explanatory. The show which is launching on 22 August tests the concentration, psychological and sensory skills of eight contestants. Exhausted will have the contestants locked in a living room which is well furnished with different games to engage them for the first 24 hours. Star Plus’ Khelo Jeeto Jiyo has its first grand prize winner. The show saw many couples battle it out to win the coveted grand prize - a 2 BHK apartment in Bangalore. Having won a range of products, it was Delhi based couple – Girish and Seema Bajaj that reached the final vault round and succeeded in winning the grand prize. Actress Soha Ali Khan hosted the show.
