Shalini, Ravi in Geeta

Shreya Creations’ Apno Ke Liye Geeta ka Dharmayudh is all set to start from next Monday in a new slot of 6.30pm and the latest news we hear is Shalini Arora and Ravi Jhankal are playing pivotal roles in the show. A source says, “Shalini is going to play the boy’s mother and Ravi will play the father. We have seen Shalini’s work and she is suitable for the role, but her character is going to be different from what she has done so far. Ravi plays a very strong character. It is a story of two families based in Patna and about some unwanted situations they face in their life. Urvashi Dholakia is playing Garima Ajmani’s (the female lead) mother. Garima portrays Mona who is married to Kanan Malhotra.” Shalini and Ravi remained unavailable for comment. Nikhil Chaddha plays Kanan’s brother and Sargun Mehta plays the lead opposite Nikhil. Shalini has done many shows in past and is currently seen playing Satish’s mother, Bhavna in Pavitra Rishta while Ravi too is a veteran who’s done both films and TV.
