Siddharth Shukla aka Shiv, the groom, goes missing from the sets of Balika Vadhu

Imagine a wedding…now imagine the panic that will result if the groom goes missing out of the blue. Yes, similar was the situation on the sets of Colors’ Balika Vadhu (Sphere Origins).

Now, the shoot for the engagement sequence of Shiv (Siddharth Shukla) and Anandi is on today (23 August 2012). But the makers had to roll without the groom, Siddharth, as he was missing. Well we are sure you’re wondering what the reason is? Read on…

As per a reliable source Pratyusha and Siddharth had to shoot for the engagement sequence today. However, after a few hours of waiting the production team learnt that Siddharth wouldn’t be making it to the sets due to ill health. The revelation triggered a slightly panicky situation on the sets. Hence, they planned to shoot for the engagement sequence without the groom (Siddharth). Siddharth’s sequence will be shot tomorrow.

As reported in the media, Giaa Maanek and choreographer Nishant will be seen performing in Anandi and Shiv’s engagement ceremony. We also hear that Nishant is choreographing the sequence.

We tried getting in touch with Siddharth but he remained unavailable for comment.
