If you see Sonam Kapoor looking bleary-eyed all day long, don’t think that Anil Kapoor’s daughter has been partying hard. Instead, it is because she spends long hours sitting on her computer, checking out the latest US sitcoms, dramas, reality shows, and what have you, on TV.

This self confessed tech, internet junkie, broadband guzzler says, “My new year resolution is that I will not get obsessed by TV shows. Sadly, I can’t rest till I finish the entire season of a show. I just don’t have the patience to watch the episodes week by week anymore.”

That’s not it, Sonam stays glued to her computer screen for hours on an end.

“I sometimes end up wasting 18 hours of a day, watching these stupid shows, which does not even make sense. I know I should be sleeping instead. But I can’t help it; I can’t seem to get enough of them. I am awake till 4 am, sleepy but not being able to get off,” reveals the Bollywood actress whose father has got the Indian remake rights of the famous US show 24.

Ask her which is the latest show she has watched and Sonam replies excitedly: “I recently watched the American sitcom, New Girl which stars Zooey Deschanel as Jessica. I just love Zooey. She is the younger sister of my favourite actress Emily Deschanel who was there in Bones and 500 Days of Summer.”

Sonam, watching TV shows is a hard-to-get-rid-of addiction, we all know. Your New Year resolution may well end up being only an intention.
