Sucheta Pawase out of Comedy Circus 2

Of late, she’s been part of comedy shows but that experience hasn’t proved of much help to Sucheta Khanna-Pawase after she and her Pakistani partner became the first pair to be eliminated from Sony’s Comedy Circus 2.

A source from the sets informs, “Sucheta and Salim Afridi lost out to Akashdeep and Pervez Siddiqui. It was surprising to see Sucheta go out as Akashdeep and Pervez had another poor showing. Maybe, the other competitors considered Sucheta a bigger threat and that’s why they voted her out.”

When contacted Sucheta said, “I’m not supposed to comment anything on it before the episode goes on air. You’ll have to watch the show to know the result.”

For Akashdeep and Pervez, it was a case of twice dodging the bullet. Our source adds, “In the subsequent episode, Akashdeep and Pervez found themselves in the bottom two again but because there was a tie in votes, they survived again. Rajiv Thakur and Kamya Punjabi were the other lucky pair.”
