Sunidhi and Salim join Anu Malek on Indian Idol

TellyChakkar earlier reported about Abhijeet Sawant, Indian Idol 1 winner hosting the next season of Indian Idol. Prajakta Shukre will join Sawant to co-host the show. We also reported about Anu Malek, the resident judge of Idol, Shreya Ghoshal and music composer Loy Mendonsa of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy being the three judges. But now we hear Shreya and Loy have been replaced by Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim of the Salim-Suleiman duo. A source informs, "Anu will be joined by Sunidhi and Salim. Apparently things didn't work out with Shreya Ghoshal and Loy." We sent a text message to Salim who confirmed the news but Sunidhi remained unavailable. We also sent a text message to Namit Sharma, Business Head Wizcraft and Ajit Thakur, Business Head Sony Entertainment Television, but they both didn't revert. The show is expected to launch sometime in March end.
