As for the contestants the talented Bhairavi Raichura who is currently seen as Bhago in Balika Vadhu will be one of the contestants on the show. Sushant Singh Rajput who plays Manav in Pavitra Rishta has also been approached. We called up Bhairavi for confirmation and all she said was, “I can’t talk about it.” While Sushant laughed off saying that, “Yes, I was approached for the show but as of now I am not doing it. Will let you know if it materialises”. It is rumoured that Kanchi Kaul lost out on the show as she acted pricey. The actress who was last seen in Maayka allegedly quoted more than her market price and Sony tried its best to negotiate. She then agreed to be part of the show but later when there were meetings to finalise the schedule of the show she did not turn up. The show will go on air in the first week of November. Neither did Kanchi attend those meetings nor did she answer their calls and it was then that the production house Optimystix decided to do away with her. A source informs, “Yes, Kanchi Kaul is no more hosting Teen Ka Tadka and Mouni has been approached to step in. Kanchi was not very happy with the money she was offered and she was not showing interest in doing the show. So we thought of replacing her and finding someone who finds the show exciting and enjoys the show.” Kanchi Kaul confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I am not hosting Sony’s Teen Ka Tadka now. Things did not materialise and there were date issues as well. I was also not happy with the money and decided to opt out of the show. And as regards me not taking their calls or refusing to attend the meetings this is all false.” When asked about her replacement she says, “I have no idea about who will be hosting the show now because after I opted out I am not even talking to them. I am busy with a new show but I would not like to talk about it right now as things are just in the initial stages”. We called Mouni Roy but she chose not to comment at this stage.
