UTV’s Rakta Sambandh on Imagine

After smelling success with Bhabhi, one of the longest running afternoon shows, UTV is all set to produce a show for NDTV Imagine, tentatively titled as Rakta Sambandh.

A source informs, “The show titled Rakt Sambandh is set against a Maharashtrian backdrop. The story is about the bonding of five sisters. Apparently, the show starts with the marriage of the youngest sister and how their father dies during the wedding. His mysterious death turns their lives upside down and brings in a major twist to the show. The eldest sister will be essayed by Bhargavi Gupte and South Indian actor Kitti will play the father’s role. The production house is currently busy finalizing the remaining cast.”

We sent a text message to Shailja Kejriwal, programming head NDTV Imagine, but she didn’t revert.
