Dil Se Diya Vachan stars say it's picnic time!

Gaurav Khanna, Vandana Joshi and Neena Gupta from Dil Se Diya Vachan belong to Delhi and have been missing the Dilli ki sardi in Mumbai.

The actors who are shooting in Film City always felt a need for good food and with the nip in the air especially in the evenings was bound to work up their appetites! So one day Gupta decided to have a little picnic on the sets and got a toaster, while Gaurav arranged for a barbecue stand and soon the unit was relishing toast with butter and jam and paneer and chicken tikkas!

Says Gaurav, “The weather in Mumbai this year is simply mind-blowing. I always used to miss the biting cold, wearing colorful cardigans and mufflers, eating hot piping pakodas and most importantly the weekend outdoor picnics of Delhi after moving to Mumbai. It was Neenaji’s idea to have this picnic and trust me it brought back so many wonderful memories!”

Hmmm, now we are feeling hungry too!
