Look ma, no hair, Manish-Rajeev-Romanch go bald for TV show

Manish Wadhawa, Rajeev Bharadwaj and Romanch Mehta go bald for their upcoming Imagine show Chandragupta Maurya. Well, the decision to go bald must have been difficult to take but when the story demands it what else do you do.

Manish, who plays Chanakya the strongest character on the show, says, "Yes, I have shaved my head and I am comfortable with it. Wearing a wig would not have been possible as we shoot for 12 hours a day and for a role like Chanakya, I did not mind it at all."

Rajeev, who plays Bhadrabhat says, "I have been playing Chanakya's main Shishya in the actual play. Since a play is just three hours long, one can wear a rubber mask but not while you're doing a show. Actually, initially I did try to work it that way but it did not go well. But I try to be happier these days as you never know what people might assume seeing you bald!”

Romanch, who plays Purushbhat says, "A lot of my friends have complimented me for my new look but I am sure they did not want to do that (laughs). The story demanded it and hence, I had to shave my head."
