Mini Rebeiro walks the first 'Ramp for Champs' in Mumbai
Mini Ribeiro, actor and model will walked the ramp for a Smile Foundation fashion show, Ramp for Champs, the first ever in Mumbai, choreographed by Fashion Guru, Prasad Bidapa. She showcased well-known designer Swati Jain’s creations from Rang Jaipur. Other celebs who walked the ramp in this fundraiser event for the education of under privileged children were Kajol, Sharman Joshi, Remo D’Souza, Chetan Bhagat, Kay Kay Menon, Tisca Chopra, Nisha Jamwal, Ramesh Sippy, Hiten Tejwani, Maria Goretti among others.
Mini Ribeiro is known for her work in Hindi & English theatre, TV serials and Advertising campaigns.
Her foray into TV began with Shera Sundari on ETV Bangla. Later she worked in Balaji Telefilms’ Kasauti Zindagi Kay. That was followed by BAG films’ Dekho Magar Pyar Se, and JR Entertainers’ Kissi ki Nazar Na Lage. She has done a cameo in the film Turning 30 and acted in short films like Chakra and Two Halves.
Her prominent Hindi plays include, Andhkaar aur…., No Mangni But Shaadi, and English plays are Apples & Walnuts, Red Hot Mamas, Maureen, He & Me.
A Gold medalist in Kathak, Mini is extremely fond of dancing. She is a well-known food writer & columnist and contributes to several publications and is passionate about cooking. She is a qualified communication professional from Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) New Delhi.
