Reliance MediaWorks creates sensational trailers for Any Body Can Dance (ABCD)
Reliance MediaWorks has partnered with UTV Spotboy’s latest release ‘Any Body Can Dance’ – India’s first 3D dance film that released worldwide on 8th February 2013. The Promo trailers & posters for this film were conceptualized and edited by the Film Visual Promotions team of Reliance MediaWorks.
Successful movies are built on successful trailers as they nudge audiences to cinema theaters and contribute significantly to a film’s success. The trailer of ABCD was designed to equip the audience on what to expect from the film with key elements like, music, dance, dialogues and creative packaging. Reliance MediaWorks also designed two motion posters to promote the film. Since the trailer release there has been immense buzz on the film so much so that audiences now await the sequel which is already being written.
“With a tightly crafted script with amazing editing, ABCD becomes India’s first 3D dance film and the team at Reliance MediaWorks had an uphill task set for them while making the promos for the film. The films target audience had to be kept in mind, without getting carried away by the films songs and dance, and the RMWL team had to ensure that they stick to the story line, and make people go to cinemas to watch the film,” says Naresh Jhangiani – President - Enterprise Business Management.
"It was an incredible experience to work with Remo and the team at UTV on ABCD. It was a great learning experience as we had to deal with the perils of 3D; our team of 8 technicians executed the brief keeping in mind the Indian flair for dancing,” says Aditya Warrior, Head of the Visual Promotions Team at Reliance MediaWorks who is extremely happy that there have been more than 32 lakh view hits on You Tube and still counting, for the trailer.
"For me it was important that everyone working on ABCD promotions shared my vision for the film. Being the first ever 3D dance film made in this country I wanted to give my audience a visual treat and a never-seen-before dance extravaganza. RMW not only understood my vision but also created some kick-ass visual promotions for the film. The team delivered a knock-out punch with the first theatrical trailer itself and followed it up with brilliant promos and song edits - the Muqabla song in particular deserves a special mention and I had a great time working with the RMW boys as they kept churning out promo after promo making sure the movie looked exactly the way it was - fabulous!" says Remo D’Souza, director of ABCD.
