The show stars Barun Sobti[2] and Shivani Tomar in lead roles of Advay and Chandni whereas Ritu Shivpuri plays the central antagonist as Chandni's mother Indrani. The story is set in Allahabad. The series is third incarnation of the Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? franchise created by Gul Khan's 4 Lions Films.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? (English: What Name Do I Give To This Love?) is an Indian daily soap opera that aired weekdays on Star Plus from 6 June 2011 until 30 November 2012. The show primarily focused on the love story of Arnav Singh Raizada (Barun Sobti) and Khushi Kumari Gupta (Sanaya Irani). It has been dubbed into Tamil as Idhu Kadhala, Telugu as Chuppulu Kalisina Shubhavela, Malayalam as Mounam Sammadham , and Arabic as Men Nazra Thanya. The series inspired several international remakes, which include Bohjena Se Bohjena (Bengali), Aragini (Kannada) and Bir Garip Ask (Turkish).

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is a star-crossed love story presenting an interesting contrast of personalities entwined in a relationship swinging between love & hate. Khushi and Arnav have diametrically opposite ideologies. If Khushi believes in means, Arnav believes only in ends. Khushi's relationships are the most important to her, whereas Arnav believes all people come with a price and can be manipulated for one's benefit. Khushi, an 18 year old from UP, is simple, rooted in family and is driven by a clear moral compass.

Set in the backdrop of small hill station - Mount Abu in Rajasthan, Baat Hamaari Pakkki Hai is the story of Sachi, an orphan who lives with her Mama and Mami. After being rejected by many boys and their families, Sachi’s marriage has become the only agenda in her Mami’s life.
