Naagin (English: Serpent) is an upcoming Indian serial drama television series, which will air on Colors in mid-September 2015. The series is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Telefilms. The show will star Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan in lead roles. Veteran actress Sudha Chandran also will play a pivotal role. The series will be aired at weekend slot.
The story revolves around a girl whose lead role is performed by Smriti Kalra. The story is about her meeting with an accident and after which she went into coma for around 12 years. After the recovery period she found that the person whom she loved was getting engaged to her younger sister. She felt so disheartened and so miserable at this. We will see all this in the show how she will react to it and the main thing that will be focused is the happy moments of life.
Based in Delhi, this story deals with two families, the Sehgal’s and the Tripathiis, living under the same roof as owners and tenants…. There are various colorful characters sharing different emotions and bonds of friendship, animosity, love, hate, conspiracy, trust and respect.
