The Kapil Sharma Show is an Indian Hindi stand-up comedy and talk show television series, which premiered on 23 April 2016 and is broadcast on Sony TV and Sony TV Asia. The series is produced by K9 productions of Kapil Sharma and Frames. This series is aired on every Saturday and Sunday nights. The first promo of the show was launched by Kapil Sharma and his team on 1 March 2016. Besides Kapil, the show stars Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar, while Navjot Singh Sidhu serves as the permanent guest.
Jamai Raja is the story of Siddharth, who despite being a jet-setting hotelier with a growing empire to tend to, takes it upon himself to repair the estranged relationship between his wife Roshni and mother-in law Durga Devi (DD). While DD has seen the trials and tribulations of poverty and struggled her way up to riches, she has hardened over the years and developed a somewhat condescending view of the middle class. She has no tolerance for laziness and mediocrity. An enterprising jewellery magnate, she is constantly on the move, has a razor sharp mind and a tongue to match.
Comedy Nights with Kapil is an Indian comedy show that premiered on Colors on June 22, 2013. Apart from being the host, Kapil Sharma is also a producer and writer on the show. The format of show is mixed, with Sharma acting out skits on stage with supporting characters while also interacting with members in the audience and the guest Navjot Singh Siddhu. Each episode features celebrity guest(s) who usually appear to promote their latest films and with whom actors interact in-character.[1] The show is similar in context to the British show The Kumars at No. 42. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is the story of two strangers getting married … and falling in love. Priya is a happy go lucky woman in her early 30s, not married so far and quite sure that she wouldn’t be able to get married ever. She takes tuitions for college students and is happy with the world.
