Actor Sachin Tyagi on a forced break bides his time singing

Sachin Tyagi was last seen in the serial Namak Haram on Real and has been completely off the radar ever since the serial went off air. And so Tyagi seems to be a dejected man these days.

"I have been sitting at home for the last six months, waiting for the right role. The ones that were good didn't pay much! I couldn't have lowered my price to such an extent to get a role," he says, albeit emotionally. "I would rather wait it out," he reasons. However, the talented actor he is, he is not idling at home.

He had won a reality show along with singer Madhushree last year. To the surprise of many people, Sachin won everyone's heart with his crooning abilities. His voice, singing style and on-screen presence fetched him the top spot. He says, "Actually, I have been singing for a long time and doing stage shows for the last nine years." So is he planning to take up singing full time?

He evades the question saying, that the break in his acting career has given him the opportunity to concentrate on his singing. "Not only am I practicing a lot more, but I am also doing stage shows more frequently." What kind of songs does he specialize in? "Well, I cut a solo album long time back, but I mostly sing popular film numbers," he signs off.
