After a series of duds, Sony finally seems to have hit gold with Ladies Special. The show that was launched as part of the channel's revamping exercise is creating waves in terms of popularity freshness. Based on four ladies (Neena Gupta, Shilpa Tulaskar, Ashita Dhawan and Payal Sarkar) in Mumbai who travel to work together in a ladies special train, the storyline talks about how their lives revolve around the journey and how they try to help each other.

But if you go to the sets of Ladies Special in Malad (north western suburb in Mumbai), you will see a fifth lady demanding and getting all the attention in the world. If you are still clueless, we are talking about the five-month-old baby of actress Shilpa Tulaskar. Named Shaiiva which means goddess of prosperity, the little girl is a regular visitor to the sets of her mother's serial. Says Shilpa, "I strongly feel that it is not just quality, but quantity of time that is equally important. Which is why I bring my daughter to the sets every day." Shilpa also has a son who is 6 years old.

"I took a break last year after I conceived. Both my husband and I were so happy when we got the news. Kids are the best gift from God,” says Shilpa. "I can work at 40, but it is very difficult to be a mother at that age. Today people tell me that with a baby girl my family is complete. I tell them that whether it is a boy or a girl is not important to me."

Shilpa elaborates on her kids. "Shaiiva is a very sweet girl. She accompanies me to the sets and doesn't throw any tantrums. She stays in the airconditioned van with a nanny, ofcourse. But whenever she needs me, she will come to the set and meet me. Only when she completely finishes her quota of being pampered and cuddled by me, will she go back!" says Shilpa. "Shaiiva is also very popular on the set. Initially she was reluctant to go to others, but now she knows every one on the sets and will go to them and force them to take her out for a stroll."
