Karan Grover's 'hairy' tales

Karan Grover of Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli probably sees his barber more often than his girl friend, Kavita Kaushik. And the reason is speedy-growth of his hair and the frequent visits to barber are the result of his new hair style in the show. Karan's hair grows really fast and coz he adorns a spiked look, the hair has to stand vertical. And when the hair grows, because of the use of gel, Karan looks really funny with his hair standing up from all sides. Hence, he has to rush to his salon almost ever week, on an off day.

Says the actor, "I am quite a bear when it comes to the growth of my hair. I have always had a long hair look. My hair grow very fast and to keep my on-screen look intact which is out of the bed look. Cutting it so often was never a priority but now because of constant use of gel, I have to keep trimming it otherwise they just don't settle making me look really funny. I have to frequent my salon every week as compared to my monthly visit earlier."

So how has been the journey on the show far? "Oh! It's been an amazing journey. I have a wonderful and chilled out co-actor in Suhasi Goradia who reciprocates exactly what is required. I have some very learned actors in Smita Jaykar and Alok Nath and its fun to shoot with all of them."
