Vineet's good times!

Shah Rukh Khan had recently been on the sets of Music Ka Maha Muqqabla when Vineet Singh asked him for his birthday gift. "To my utter surprise, Shah Rukh came up to me, took off his Tag Hueur watch he was wearing and handed it over to me. I was shocked, but pleasantly surprised," says Vineet, the smile not leaving his face.

But after the shoot, Khan realized that he had just given away his lucky watch and that he also had used it in My Name Is Khan. And the next schedule for the same was due in a few days time which meant, he would need the watch for continuity reasons.

"He came up to me and apologised, and mentioned he needed the watch for maintaining the continuity of the shot. He also promised me that he would call me to his house and give me another watch," explains Vineet. "I was moved by his honesty, dedication and humility. At the same time, I must confess I thought he would forget it after some time."

To his surprise, Vineet received a call the same evening from Shah Rukh's office requesting him to come over to Mannat (SRK's home) the next day. "Once I went there, he again apologised and gave me a brand new Tag Hueur watch. I was moved. I think these gestures make an ordinary person extraordinary. I will never forget that day," says an emotional Vineet.

Well, we only hope, Vineet too learns to be humble just like the King Khan!
