Woh Rehne wali …writers create history

Woh Rehne waali mehlon ki recently completed 1000 episodes. And part of the credit goes to the writers Shashi Mittal and Sumit Mittal. They have been associated with the show since its birth which is almost 4 years ago.

Shashi Mittal says, “The feeling is immense, as I think this is the first time in the history of television scripting that a pair of writers have been associated with the show from the beginning till date and successfully completed 1000 episodes.”

Sumit adds, “We have been associated with Rajshri productions for the past many years now and now I openly admit that it was due the Rajshri pattern that we could follow a proper story track. The show is based on the possible realities, there aren’t any unwanted affairs and doubts. The main lead, Rani is a character which every single human being can associate with. This is the reason why we are still the writers of the show.”

Moreover they did not want a glamorised look which was the pattern being followed by many leading serials when this serial was launched. They wanted to portray the actual nok-jhok which happens in every Indian household.

When asked if they had any plans to get into production, they said, “We can’t say anything as of now, but if we come up with something will let you know.”
