Was it a luck by chance win for Yashraj?

Sitaron Ko Choona Hai, Yashraj Kapil,

Having faced almost three months tough training and hard hitting comments by the judges Yashraj Kapil has finally soared the sky as he went on to win Sitaron Ko Choona Hai. Neelakshi was the second runner-up and Shantanu was the third.

But the irony of his win is the fact that at one stage of the competition Yashraj was almost thrown out of the show. It so happened that Yashraj had slapped co-contestant Kashish and the judges, especially Raghu Ram wanted to expel him. But Yashraj accepted his mistake after which Raghu Ram allowed him to continue with the competition. Tellychakkar asked him to comment on the incident but Yashraj refused to say anything on it.

An elated Yashraj however says, “I am feeling great and at the top of the world. From day one it was my dream to win the show and to see the trophy in my hand. I am very happy that I have made it. Also the contract of an album with Times Music will give my career a boost. I feel that it is not the end but a new beginning for me.”

So who was his toughest competitor? He replied, “Only I was my toughest competitor. The show had such a format where if you hadn’t improved after every performance you would have been eliminated. I worked very hard and kept on improving myself for my next act and that led to my victory.”

But had he been thrown out wouldn’t the winner have been somebody else?

Now this is what we term luck by chance.
