11th Indian Telly Awards

What is the feeling when after a hot and humid night you spot a drop of dew on a grass? Of course, it is that of freshness, liveliness and vivacity.

Anupam Shyam needs no introduction. This man who eats, sleeps and breathes acting has earned Aonian heights of popularity by portraying <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sajjan-singh-marry-ganga-pratigya"> Sajjan Singh</a> in Star Plus' <em>Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya</em> (produced by Walkwater and Spellbound Productions). And currently he just can't stop being merry as he won the jury award for the Best Actor in a Negative Role in the recently concluded 11th Indian Telly Awards, which will soon air on Colors.

Village Boy Productions’ Afsar Bitiya on Zee TV won the Indian Telly Awards for the Best Programme with a Social Message. Tellychakkar.com talked to the producer and writer of the show, Raakesh Paswan who expressed his happiness on getting the award.

Raj Mange is cute, sweet and mischievous. This 6 year old actor amazes everyone with his astounding performance as little Bajrangbali in Sagar Arts’ show on Sahara One, Jai Jai Jai Bajrangbali. This talented bundle of joy won the Best Child Artist (Male) Award at the recently organized 11th Indian Telly Awards which will soon air on Colors. Kudos to Raj!!!

Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani, popularly known as Arnav Singh Raizada and Khushi, protagonists of Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? became household names in quick time!! And recently the duo won the Best Jodi Award at the 11th Indian Telly Awards. Barun who is busy shooting for his movie was not present at the awards night and Sanaya received his trophy on his behalf!! Tellychakkar.com caught up with an upbeat Barun who told us, “Yes, it feels great to have got the Best Jodi Award. Sanaya got it home for me, she gave it to me the same night (smiles).”

Handsome hunk Kushal Tandon who won Fresh New Face (Male) for Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (Star Plus) at the 11th Indian Telly Awards was quite happy at receiving this honor. “My show has not yet completed one year and yet we are popular. I feel my hard work has paid off. The entire production house guys partied all night. It was double dhamaal as Cinevistaas also won the Best Youth Show – Fiction Dil Dostii Dance (Channel V) award.”

We all love Giaa Maanek aka Gopi bahu. This lovely lady won the Best Actress in a Lead Role award in the 11th Indian Telly Awards. Now, in her show Rashmi Telefilms’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus, viewers have been witnessing constant fights between Anita (Iira Soni) and Gopi (Giaa Manek) and the entire family knows about the tiff between the two.

Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd is currently on a roll. Its numero uno show on Star Plus <em> Diya Aur Baati Hum</em> won the Best Daily Serial award in the 11th Indian Telly Awards. And guess what? Even Kanika Maheshwari won the award of Best Actress in a Negative Role for her impressive performance as Meenakshi in the serial. Well…they deserve a standing ovation. Moving on, the creatives have chalked out a spicy sequence to further gain eyeballs. What are we talking about? Well, viewers will soon see Meenakshi in a new avatar of Anarkali.
