Yes, you heard it right! This pretty actress from the South, who made it into the television industry with Saurabh Tewari’s <em>Madhubala</em>, is now set to capture the silver screen.

RK (Vivian Dsena) has made Madhu’s (Drashti Dhami) life miserable in Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (Nautanki Telefilms). Hence, a heartbroken Madhu will be seen returning home to visit her mother. However, even back home things will turn sour for her. This will be for the first time that Madhu will come home to meet her mother, Padmini ((Pallavi Purohit) post marriage, much to latter’s happiness. But soon Padmini will show a change of heart, bringing in Trishna (Aarti Puri) in the picture.

Aarti Puri’ role Trishna in Nautanki Films’ Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors comes across as a strong character who wants to achieve her dream of becoming an actress. On the same lines, Aarti in real life is working towards her dream of becoming a Bollywood actor. In fact, the actress was initially apprehensive about taking up TV, but decided to accept it as a stepping stone to achieving her ultimate goal. Talking about her character in the Colors show she says, “I like my character as it is not a negative one and her actions are completely justified.”

As seen in the earlier episodes of Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors produced by Nautanki Telefilms, RK (Vivian Dsena) has been put behind bars. Trishna (Aarti Puri), who wants to work in films with him, goes to the jail with a <e>dabba</em>. However, RK will not only insult her but also threaten to ruin her career.

The police case that Madhubala (Drashti Dhami) has filed against RK (Vivian Dsena) in Colors’ Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, will soon take an ugly turn as now the actor will involve Trishna (Aarti Puri) in it. As seen in the earlier episodes, RK has invited Trishna to his house and will now be seen offering her a fair deal. But this deal will be against Madhubala’s ethics. Hence the coming episodes will see a great lot of friction between the sisters.

The track in Colors’ Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon produced by Nautanki Films is now focusing on Trishna (Aarti Puri), who is chasing her dream of becoming a lead dancer in movies. Her sister Madhubala (Drashti Dhami) has always been a pillar of support and presently Madhu is also living her sister’s dream and is trying her best to help her sister out in performing at her best in the shoot.

And now we have learned that she is producing a show for Doordarshan under the banner Pink Magic Pvt Ltd. She has already produced a show on the same channel titled <em>Mangalsutra Ek Maryada</em>.
