Akshay Kumar, who next will be seen in Gold and 2.0, says that he wants to remake 'Balak Palak' in Hindi.

Emboldened by the response of his Marathi film Balak Palak on the very first day of its release, debutant producer Riteish Deshmukh has revealed that he is mulling to remake the film in Hindi. Observed Riteish, "The kind of feedback we have got, I think we will be looking forward to making this film in Hindi.” The film talks about curiosity about sex among adolescents.

For the first time in the country, a virtual premiere of a film will be held for Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi film Balak Palak when the cast and crew of the film will be in attendance on the big screen, in multiple locations with audiences being the cinema going public. Commented Deshmukh, “I am overjoyed that <em>Balak Palak</em>, a sensitive drama that will help parents realize how important it is to communicate transparently with your child, will create history with the first-of-its-kind virtual premiere facilitated by UFO Moviez and Valuable Edutainment."

Riteish Deshmukh's debut production vehicle Balak Palak in Marathi, that deals with sex education, will have its world premiere at the South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF) to be held in New York between 24 to 30 October. "I'm very proud to be associated with the film. I've always believed that we could do more with regional cinema, which is already doing such great work over the last few years," said Riteish in statement.
