The magic of host <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/movie-chakkar/amitabh-bachchan-neither-slowing-down-nor-refusing-film-offers>Amitabh Bachchan</a> has again swept through the masses. And going by the response it seems that this Sony Entertainment Television show will again strike a great success note.

Yesterday (1 September 2012) Tellychakkar.com reported about Haji Ali Abrar directing an episodic of Star Plus’ Lakhon Mein Ek, produced by Big Synergy. We now hear that the critically acclaimed Director Manish Jha wil be the next to be part of the inspiring series. Manish Jha who won the Jury Prize for the Best Short Film at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival for ‘A Very Very Silent Film’ and has also been appreciated for his work in <em>Mathrubhoomi – A Nation Without Women</em> will be directing one of the upcoming episodes of the series on Star Plus.

Indian television is never known to have tackled burning social issues. The scenario first underwent a change with Satyamev Jayate (SJ) and now <em>Lakhon Mein Ek</em> on Star Plus. This Big Synergy presentation salutes ordinary people who take on the might of societal and governmental systems. Yesterday’s episode dealt with trials and tribulations of Mr. Rajindra Kachroo (Yashpal Sharma) who lost his son Aman, a medical college student, to ragging.

Tellycahakkar.com had earlier reported about Jia Mustafa being part of Big Synergy’s Lakhon Mein Ek on Star Plus. However, there will be one more prominent character in the show. Abir Abrar who was seen in <em>Jodhaa Akbar</em> as Bakshi Banu Begam, the sister of Akbar (Hrithik Roshan) )will be playing the role of sister in law of Anita (Jia Mustafa) in <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/releases/yashpal-sharma-protest-against-ragging-lakhon-mein-ek>Lakhon Mein Ek</a></em>.

Director of Big Synergy, Anil Kaul Basu is a happy woman with two big shows like Lakhon Mein Ek and Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) season 6 in her kitty. While Lakhon Mein Ek is being aired on Star Plus on Sundays at 11 am, KBC will start airing in the weekend slot from Friday to Sunday at 8.30 pm on Sony Entertainment Channel starting 7 September (2012). This season will also be anchored by Amitabh Bachchan.

Star Plus created waves with Aamir Khan’s show Satyamev Jayate. The initiative went on to become a rage amongst the masses. Now, after Satyamev drew curtains, the show which replaced it is Big Synergy’s <em>Lakhon Mein Ek</em>.

After all, she is the Director at Big Synergy, the production house that has churned out shows like <em>Kaun Banega Crorepati, Dus Ka Dum, Sach Ka Saamna</em>, and many other renowned ones. She is so charming,” said one scribe from team Tellychakkar after meeting Anita.

It’s been awhile since the news of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/aamirs-biggest-fan-shoots-ad-him>Aamir Khan</a> doing a talk show on television have been making the rounds. It was earlier reported that Aamir was considering two reality shows both having social causes as their backdrop. However the latest news is that Aamir Khan will be seen in a talk show which will be produced by Big Synergy and will be aired on Star Plus.

Sony along with Big Synergy is pulling out all stops to make <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/amitabh-start-kbc-september-21>KBC4</a> faster, sharper and as the host of the show put it, “<em>iss baar thoda teekha hai</em>”. For starters, the prize money to be won is 5 crores. The questions are 12 instead of 15. And a bonus question, the jackpot question which is up for grabs for 5 crores. The channel claims that the show has already got a staggering response with above 50 lakhs people having auditioned and five million registrations in just a week!
