Daljit Kaur of <em> Kulvaddhu</em> fame has bagged a new show on Star Plus. She'll be playing one of the leads in Shakuntalam's <em> Santaan</em>. Beside this, she also has a Star One's <em> Choona Hai Aasmaan</em>. "I'm playing the role of Suhana, who is very much like me. <em> Santaan</em> is a show which portrays the relation of a parent with its child. It has a strong message for the current generation" says Daljit.

The first project is Star Plus' <em> Chuna Hain Aasmaan</em> - a sequel to <em> Saara Akaash</em>, opposite none other than the dashing Iqbal Khan and the second one's a thriller,<em> Ek Din Achanak</em> to be aired on a premiere channel.
