The Kanta ben rage seems to have affected televison as well! And who better to get inspired by it, but Ekta Kapoor, who was so taken in by the character in Karan Johar's Kal Ho Na Ho that not only did she cast a character of the same name in Nimmo..., but wanted Sulbha Arya, (the original Ben) to play the part.

Everyone knows what Shweta Tiwari thinks of Cezanne Khan and vice versa. A little birdie from the sets of Kasautii Zindagi Kay tells us that Cezanne Khan has thrown been tantrums that he will give only fifteen days to Balaji for the show. He is said to have taken this step as the focus has shifted to the younger generation and Manoj Bohra in particular. Apparently he might be looking for other assignments soon. While Shweta Tiwari has conveyed to the production house that she is planning a vacation in America in the month of June.

Eijaz Khan who used to be Ekta Kapoor's lucky mascot in Kahiin toh Hoga and who did Kesar and Kkusum and is now currently the main lead in Kavvyanjali has been keeping a low profile of late. The buzz is that his erratic schedule has taken a toll on him and he is bugged with the fast pace of life that he has been forced to maintain.

Balaji gang (read the Kyunki…team) is all set to chill out in Goa to ring in the new year. The list includes Ekta Kapoor, Ritu Chaudhary, Amit Sareen with brother in tow, Shilpa and Apoorva Agnihotri with each getting their own friends too. While they all plan to go in separate groups separately and finally club in together in Goa. On the other hand, Tassnim Sheikh is all set to hit Goa with her fiancé and her old friends from India and abroad for a good five days.

Kkusum completed a thousand episodes and went off air on 30 November. Not that many would have noticed. In the last few months, there had been too many plot changes, replacements and what have you. Obviously, then, there is no reason to have a bash to mark its end, yet we hear that Ekta Kapoor plans to hold a winding up party at her Juhu residence on 7 December. And it isn't just the Kkusum stars who have been invited. The invitee list reads more like a celeb who's who, with stars from other Balaji serials head of the list!
