Last week judges blamed public for voting out <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/shocking-elimination-indian-idol-judges-save-day>Rakesh Maini</a> but saved him by using their veto power. This week they again voted out yet another good singer Shivam Pathak from Uttar Pradesh.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/short-takes/dont-give-stress-your-family-give-it-your-friends-anubhav-srivastava>Anubhav Srivastav</a> (last seen in Seven) has been approached to play a lead in Hema Malini’s first fictional show on Colors. Anubhav has auditioned for this untitled project and if everything falls into place he will be part of the show.

This week there will be a huge surprise for <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/shashi-gets-boot-indian-idol>Indian Idol 5</a> contestants. It is becoming a trend of sorts when the most deserving candidates end up with minimum votes. So after watching Sreeram and Shivam in the bottom two everyone felt once again either of them would probably have to pay the price for the <em>junta</em>'s decision.

Yet another dance reality show titled <em> Dancing Queen </em> is set to launch on Colors. Viewers may have already noticed the promos of the show on air. But due to the ongoing strike there is ambiguity regarding the launch date. The show is unique in its format as it is based on item numbers and will have some of the most popular item girls participating.
