Indian Idol 4

There is a twist in the news. Mini Mathur, who has been hosting every season of <em> Indian Idol</em>, had opted out of<em> Indian Idol 4 </em> as she was pregnant with her second child. But now, things seem to be different. The charming Mini is tipped to host the baap of all reality shows, <em> Indian Idol 4</em>.

After the super success of <em> Indian Idol </em>3, season 4 is just around the corner. The wait for the same ends in September as the season takes off on Sony Entertainment channel. But what is unique this time is the fact that there is a solo host. Earlier seasons had two hosts with Mini Mathur being the constant at all three earlier seasons.

She’s been the voice of <em> Indian Idol</em>, having hosted the show’s first three editions but Mini Mathur-Khan will not be returning for the fourth season. Confirming this news Mini says “Yes, it’s true that I’m unlikely to host <em>Indian Idol 4</em>. However, I will definitely return for the fifth season.” When asked for her reason to refuse <em> Indian Idol 4</em>, Mini says “I’m not doing the show for personal reasons.”
