Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il champs has whittled down from 12 to just six participants, but the challenge has scaled a notch higher. The wild card entry will be introduced in the show and there will be as many as four wild card entrants in the show. The only respite for the remaining challengers will be that there will be no eviction this weekend.

After two evictions from Alka Yagnik’s camp the latest and third eviction will come as a shocker to singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya. This time round a male contestant will be exiting the show. Yashodhan Raokadam is the latest participant to be evicted from the show.

This is the new season of the show and the celeb line up begins with two of Bollywood’s hottest actors. The sets of Zee TV’s <em>Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs</em> will come alive with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. The actors will make an appearance on the show as part of their film promotion campaign. Saif’s home production <em>Love Aaj Kal</em> is soon due for release.

The participants of <em>L’il Champs </em> knocked down not by competition but by chicken pox. The shooting with the 12 participants who have made it to the finals was about to take place from 11 June but unfortunately five of them are down with the disease. Abhigyaan, Yashodhan, Hemant, Debolina and Shreyasi are severely ill and are not in a condition to practice or shoot. They are advised complete bed rest and not to stress themselves. And as the disease is contagious, more are expected to fall prey to it.

She was an integral part of the show during its inception thus it was only fair for Alka Yagnik to be back on Sa Re Ga Ma L’il Champs. The Bollywood songstress, who was last seen as a judge on Star Voice of India, was the celebrity guest on<em> L’il Champs </em>wild card episode. A nostalgic Alka said, <em>“waapis ghar aayi hoon aisa lagta hai </em>(I’ve returned home).” She confessed to not having much fun in judging any other reality show as she’s had on the sets of<em> L’il Champs.</em>

After rock n’ roll, the<em> L’iL Champs </em>go on to woo viewers attired in casual chic with plenty of gold jewellery in an episode that celebrates the music of Bappi Lahiri. Judging the series of<em> L’iL Champs, </em>Bappi Lahiri has endeared himself with the contestants. One cannot miss him as he plays the calm elder guide to the finalists and passes his judgements, taking care not to upset the kids. Bappi, like Alka Yagnik and Abhijeet, is a keen observer even when the kids rehearse before the shoot. He is always seen giving them valuable tips to improve their performances.
