Monkey man

Monkey Man, directed by Dev Patel, recently won the Headliner Audience Award Winner at the SXSW Film Festival. The two trailers of the film have gained immense appreciation from critics and fans alike.

The Ponniyin Selvan actress is all set to add another feather to her hat as she will be making her Hollywood debut in the upcoming film Monkey Man. The film is directed by actor Dev Patel who is making his directorial debut with the film.

Rashmi Sharma Telefilms’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/satyadev-and-bindeshwari-kaushik-head-divorce-mrs-kaushik-ki-paanch-bahuein>Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein</a>, on Zee TV, has just wrapped up the entire “time machine” leap sequence. Now the Kaushik family is back to the present. However, the plot will now have an interesting social message. We had earlier written about various shows like <em>R.K Laxman Ki Duniya, Chidiya Ghar</em> on SAB TV pitching in the monkey man sequence. Now, <em>Mrs Kaushik</em>… will also follow the same “primate” path.

What’s up with this monkey man plot, TV writers? It seems as if there is at least one monkey man who is busy harrowing the cast of every show across GECs. After <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/monkey-man-kidnap-bhavesh-and-mamu-t-r-k-laxman-ki-duniya>RK Laxman Ki Duniya</a></em> (SAB TV) and <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/tannu-mysterious-monkey-man-na-bole-tum>Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha</a></em> (Colors), the dreaded monkey man is all set to create fun and humour in Fireworks’ silent comedy, <em>Gutur Gu</em> on SAB TV.

In the month of February 2012, Mumbai got gripped with fear after the news flashed of some monkey man killing children and raping women. Though the cops rubbished everything as a “hoax” but fear still looms large in the hearts of Mumbaites residing in the suburban areas of the city. Now SAB TV’s show <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ambikas-marriage-ceremony-rk-laxman-ki-duniya>R K Laxman Ki Duniya</a></em>, which deals with the issues in the life of a common man, is all set to incorporate the “monkey man” episode in the story plot, but in a humorous vein.
