Na aana Iss Des Laado

Hello everyone, I am Simran Kaur whom you know as Diya from my last show on Colors’ Na Aana Is Des Laado and will soon see in Sony Entertainment Television’s Anamika in which I am playing a chudail (mystery lady) or a ghost. At the outset, let me wish you a Happy Diwali. To start with, a little bit about myself. Born and raised in Mumbai where I stay with my parents and elder sister, I finished my schooling from Divine Child High School and completed my college from Bhavan’s College of Arts. Later, I did my BMM in advertising from Malini Kishore Sanghavi College.

Yash Dasgupta, who was seen in Colors' Na Aana Iss Des Laado and more recently in an episodic of Sony Entertainment Television’s <em>Adaalat</em>, is presently on the lookout for a meaty role in television. Talking about it, Yash says, "I am looking for good projects, something interesting. I am game for any kind of role. I don't want to be off camera, as in this industry if we actors are not seen, we tend to vanish."

There is something about Meghna Malik which is extremely attractive. What is it? Her beautiful eyes, striking attitude, majestic debonair, mind blowing performances…what? Well…we know…all of them and more. She became immensely famous playing Ammaji in Colors’ <em>Na Aana Iss Des Laado</em. (Shakuntalam Telefilms). The show has now gone off air and since then, Meghna has been keeping busy…really busy. Doing what? Well…holidaying and chilling out…We know everyone would love to embrace Meghna’s super cool “busy” mode of living.

Tellychakkar.com was the first to report about Colors’ Na Aana Iss Des Laado wrapping up. The serial produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms can be said to be one of the most successful shows, not only in the channel, but in the history of Indian television. The character of Ammaji played by Meghna Malik became a rage amongst the masses. Now, Laado is all set to air for the last time on 27 July 2012.

Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported about Surya’s (Kapil Nirmal) death in Shakuntalam Telefilms’ <em>Na Aana Iss Des Laado</em> on Colors, however the latest is that Kapil put down his papers one and a half month ago. “My character did not have much to do hence I did not want to stay back in the show. I put down my papers and have served a proper notice period”, says the actor.

Yesterday evening (29 June 2012), Tellychakkar.com reported about Colors’ popular show Na Aana Iss Des Laado going off air and airing for the last time on 27 July. Now, the show has been entertaining masses for over four years now and the character of Amma<em>ji</em> (Meghna Malik) gained Aonian heights of popularity.

Na Aana Iss Desh Laado produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms has slipped down on the popularity chart of late. Some point fingers at the redundant plot whereas others talk about the not so attractive afternoon time slot (1pm). But the makers are bringing an impressive twist in the coming episodes to shoot up in ratings.

Simran Kaur, who essayed the role of Dia in Colors’ Na Aana Is Des Laado has been bedridden for more than a fortnight now. Simran who celebrated her birthday on the 29 of May has been facing a rough weather since then, and has been down with viral fever.

When Life OK was launched people wondered if it would be liked by the masses or not. But few months down the line with its differentiating content, the channel has been garnering rave review from TV critics and fans alike. Now, the channel is all set to launch another show, a social drama, and it will be produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms.

So is she upset with her role in the serial? Well…no. But she is tired and bored of her look in it.
