It is surely a great achievement considering the fact that in today’s time daily soaps come under the scanner after a month or two of its hitting the screen.

In fact TellyChakkar was the first to report the development. And since the last news the rumours still persist. In fact now it has gathered momentum and it is almost confirmed that the actor has called it a day.

Sony TV’s show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ishita-markand-cid>CID</a> which started in the year 1998 produced by Fireworks Productions has seen very few changes in the regular cast. The serial is one of the most popular and longest running shows on Indian television. But now it’s all set to bid adieu to Vivek Mashru who plays the role of inspector Vivek on the show.

Nishant Malkani (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/anukalp-lose-his-job>Anukalp</a>) has decided to quit the show and is serving a notice period at this moment and will continue to do so until the second week of July. Inside sources suggest that there were multiple reasons which prompted him to quit. Some say his behavior on the sets was one such reason whilst some say that he has bagged a few films which has initiated this move.
