And with the movie getting released, we hear that appreciations from various production houses are pouring in for Gulfam. Talking about it, Gulfam tells us, “I have got many calls from Balaji Telefilms for the hilarious gags that I had in the movie. That’s not all, as my entire cast and crew from the team of <Em>R K Laxman</em> (Hats Off Productions) congratulated me on the role.”

Now, the makers have roped in actor Ravi Gossain to play a pivotal cameo in the series. Ravi is currently seen portraying the role of a cruel inspector in Colors’ <em>Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon</em>.

R K Laxman Ki Duniya on SAB TV basically deals with the issues faced by a common man in day to day life in a humorous vein. And the makers (Hats off and Dharmesh Mehta Productions) have managed to strike the right chords with the masses. To further up the entertainment quotient, the creatives have decided to introduce a new Punjabi ‘Chopra’ family. Actors, namely, Jaanvi Sangwan, Pankaj Kalra and child artist Nikunj Pandey have been roped in to be a part of the family.

Gulfam Khan is a magical woman. Why? Because she can spread a blanket of laughter and gaiety with her comic acting in this otherwise mundane world. Though the cops rubbished everything as a “hoax” but fear still looms large in the hearts of Mumbaites residing in the suburban areas of the city. The show is based on the works of Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan recipient-cartoonist R K Laxman.
