Shaan is one of the best known and loved faces on Indian television. Specially, when it comes to reality shows. He has, undoubtedly, been one of the most loved and popular hosts in the world of Indian television. An ever-smiling face, a vibrant voice and ultra-hep style quotient made the singer synonymous to musical talent hunt shows on Indian television.

The ever so charming Shaan is back on television. However, it's not all smiles for the singer, who after a break of a few months, returns to host the second season of Voice of India. There's grief in his heart, a fear that music is not hitting the right notes. The ace singer bares it all to Tellychakkar. Read on to know what's going through Shaan's mind and body. <strong> You opted out of Chhote Ustad citing fatigue. You're now back with Voice of India. Do you feel refreshed now?</strong>

Abhaas the new anchor who has taken over from the veteran Shaan will now have to wear a new cap- that of an anchor cum singer. Though his critics feel that he may not deliver the goods Abhaas looks confident and even has a great repartee style. “Oh, it requires lot of hard work. Shaan Sir has been associated with Gajendrra Singh for so many years. He has uplifted the show to such a height that it’s going to be very difficult for me to maintain that position. But I would try my best to maintain the show’s status,” says Abhaas.

Shaan, the singer with the mellifluous voice and captivating smile has become the face of television in his latest avatar as host. Undoubtedly one of the reasons behind the popularity and success of Voice of India, the music based reality show, Shaan was loved both by the contestants as well as the viewers. Since then it's been a long journey for Shaan. It was way back in 2004 that Shaan began his association with Gajendrra Singh which culminated with Voice of India.
