Tota Weds Maina

After a six year hiatus, talented comic actor Gaurav Gera is all set to return to daily soaps with SAB TV’s <em>Tota Weds Maina</em>. Talking about the character he plays, Gaurav says, “In the show, I play a simple guy next door from Uttar Pradesh studying chartered accountancy. Having a heart of gold, he is loved by his entire family.”

SAB TV held a press conference today wherein they went ahead to launch two shows, namely <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/rohitash-gaud-kicked-be-part-sab-tvs-hum-aapke-hai-laws>Hum Aapke Hain In-Laws</a></em> and <em>Tota Weds Maina</em>. Let’s delve into each project one by one.

SAB TV is currently on a roll as it is all set to launch a number of new shows in the coming months. We have already written about Fireworks Productions’ I Dream of Jeannie and we have learned that the channel is coming up with another venture, called <em>Tota Weds Maina</em>. The show is being produced by Miloni Pictures. The plot will be a hilarious one (as expected) and will capture the funny histrionics of a joint family based in UP. The pilot of the show was shot on 5-7 June 2012 and the makers are ye to get a green signal from the channel to go on floors.
