Shahid Kapoor has just had a double setback with two replacements in his forthcoming starrers. Firstly, it has come to light that Shahid has been replaced by Imran Khan who will now play the lead role in the sequel of Vishal Bhardwaj’s <em>Kaminey</em>. Trade circles say that of late, Bhardwaj has been praising a lot of his latest hero, Imran. An insider also goes to say that the director even went on to compare Imran with other actors he has worked with in the past including Shahid and Saif Ali Khan.

It looks like Vishal Bharadwaj’s fight against censorial diktats has this time gone in the censorboard’s favour. Contrary to reports that Bharadwaj’s new film <em>Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola</em> has been served an all-clear ‘UA’ certificate the director had to modify the word ‘<em>paincho’ </em> from the film at several points before certification.

In her long and illustrious career this must be the first occasion when choreographer Saroj Khan’s work has been scrapped. But the need of the hour was a change of choreography. It is with some amount of shock and disbelief that we hear of the legendary Saroj Khan being relieved of her choreographic duties, and that too after she had completed her work for Vishal Bharadwaj’s <em>Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola. </em>
