Pavitra Rishta

Actor Prabhat Bhattacharya of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii fame who plays the vicious Ajit Lokhande, Manjusha's (Swati Anand) brother in Pavitra Rishta has been replaced. Marathi actor Pankaj Vishnu will now enact that role. He began the shoot two days ago. A source informs, "Prabhat wasn't too happy with his track. There was nothing much for him to do as the track focuses on Archana and Manav. So he expressed his desire to quit the show and the production house decided to let him go and get Pankaj in."

One should always expect the unexpected in a Balaji show. And more so the women in the show should face some serious ups and downs. Audiences know that Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) and Archana’s (Ankita Lokhande) relationship has gone sour and that he hates her as he holds her responsible for having him and his family jailed. But now we hear that their relationship will hit rock bottom and the road will get tougher for Archana. According to a well placed source from the show, Manav’s brother Sachin (Raj Singh) will die in a road accident and the news will leave everyone shattered.

Veteran Marathi actor, Ajay Wadhavkar, who was missing from Zee TV’s <a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/pavitra-rishta/sushant-finally-meets-ankita-pavitra-rishta>Pavitra Rishta</a> is back. Wadhavkar plays the role of Damodar, <a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/interviews/sushant-singh-rajput/i-want-change-my-hairstyle-sushant-singh-rajput>Manav’s</a> father. He was out of action as he had to undergo a surgery. Having injured his left leg a couple of months back and being a diabetic, Wadhavkar had his leg amputated.

After enthralling us as Archana and Manav in Balaji Telefilms’ Pavitra Rishta, <a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/going-strong-ankita-lokhande-and-sushant-singh-rajput>Ankita Lokhande</a> and <a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sushant-back-mihika-likely-quit-kis-desh-mein-hai-meraa-dil>Sushant Singh Rajput</a>will now be seen as sacred Sita and Ram in <em><a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/shekhar-returns-laali-s-favour>Agle janam mohe bitiya hi kijo</em>. This is a guest appearance and will be just for an episode.

Fire broke out on one of the sets of <a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/pooja-enters-pavitra-rishta>Pavitra Rishta</a> at Klick Nixon, Sakinaka. Actor <a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/amit-sareen-replaces-kunal-thakkar-pavitra-rishta>Amit Sarin</a> and Priya Marathe were shooting a crucial scene at that point of time. It was during the canning of the close-up shots of Sareen, that a bulb broke and the cloth attached to it caught fire which gradually kept spreading. The entire set smoked up in no time but luckily there was no casualty.

The latest entrant on <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/pavitra-rishta/sushant-finally-meets-ankita-pavitra-rishta>Pavitra Rishta</a></em> is actress Pooja Pihal who has done shows like <em>Kayamath, Waqt</em> and <em>Ninja Pandav</em>. The actress will play the role of Shravani who happens to be the garage owner’s daughter where Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) works. Pooja’s entry had aired yesterday but the girl will be a regular feature post 19 September.”
