Former Indian Idol contestant <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/hussain-replaces-prajakta-indian-idol>Prajakta Shukre</a> is in a soup. She allegedly banged her car injuring two kids.

Here is good news for all Hussain fans. He is back with the fifth season of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/police-refuse-permission-delhi-auditions-indian-idol-5-cancelled>Indian Idol</a>. He is replacing Prajakta Shukre as host in the gala rounds. He is co-hosting it with Abhijeet Sawant. Shukre hosted auditions of this season which was conducted in various cities of India.

One of the contestants of <em> Indian Idol</em> 1 Prajakta Shukre has been keeping a low profile all these years. She was last seen in a television series called<em> Rihahee</em>. We wondered what this Marathi mulgi is up to so we decided to call her up. Its good news for her fans as Prajakta will soon be seen on another television show. “Talks are in the very initial stages. I can’t reveal anything about it now but yes the show will be for a new channel which is yet to be launched,” says Prajakta.

Prajakta Shukre, one of the ten <em>Indian Idol</em> finalists made her acting debut with <em>Rihaee</em> on Sony this week. Sony used her singing as well as acting talent on the show where Prajakta played the part of a young celebrity, who after a performance, witnesses the murder of her model - friend. Her performance had quite a positive reception and we personally felt she did a good job.
