An IPS officer Sandhya has not only nabbed few terrorists but has also made the nation proud.

Anandi from Balika Vadhu- A victim of child marriage, Anandi has fought the cause all her life. Upon realizing the negative effects of child marriage she tried to educate as many as possible in the show and also aware the masses. Unfortunately her daughter also became victim of the same social evil while Anandi continued to fight with the social practice.

Urmi from Doli Armaanon Ki- With so many cases of domestic violence these days on media, this one television bahu showed us to stood up for her own rights. Even if her own family didn’t support her, she all alone fought against her husband’s torture and mother-in-law and handled the issue with dignity.

Sia from Na Aana Is Des Laado- Though female foeticide has been legally banned in India unfortunately it still exists in some parts of the country. Gangaa from Gangaa- The young kid on television, Gangaa has been inspiring many souls. The unfortunate little kid not only got married at an early age, but also became a widow even before becoming a teenager. But, her bad luck has not been able to discourage her, as she continues to lead her life by getting admitted in a school and continues with her education.

Krishna in Afsar Bitiya- Encouraging all women folk from small town Afsar Bitiya was an eye opening series. Narrating the true meaning of woman empowerment, the protagonist of the daily, Krishna overcame all the hurdles, following her dreams and became a block development officer.

Rachana from Kaali Ek Agnipariksha- Inspired from real life incident of Ruchika Girhotra molestation case Kaali narrated one of the most shameful cases ever happened in our country. Though the case met a tragic fate with the victim committing suicide and the offender having a chance to escape, nevertheless Rachana showed us the spirit to fight with the evil human beings and to lead a life with respect.

Babuji from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah- Babuji is one character in the series, who has always supported the correct path and has voiced his thoughts. And no doubt in current time he is one true patriotic character, who will be able to guide the next generation in the right path.
