Last time when TV actors travelled by public transport

Actors trading their swanky cars for public transport like us is a rare sight.

These days we have seen many popular Bollywood actors shooting in local trains and other public transport for their films.

But we wonder when was the last time TV actors travelled by local transport. Let’s call up few of them and find out...shall we?

Yuvika Choudhary: After coming to Mumbai, I have travelled in local trains only once...that too very long time ago. I have never travelled in bus ever. Recently, I boarded an auto rickshaw with my friends just for the fun. We parked our cars and enjoyed the rickshaw ride.

Sumeet Raghavan: Since my car was sent for repairing following an accident, I had to switch to public transport. To reach the set, I used to travel by local trains and later take an auto rickshaw. The experience was very enjoyable as I feel people who travel by trains are luckier as they at least reach on time. In a city like Mumbai, time is very important. I travelled in local trains for almost two years. People used to get excited after seeing me in trains. They used to happily click selfies and chat with me!

Shikha Singh: While returning from Esselworld, we were not getting a richshaw so we boarded a BEST bus to reach home. After that I have never travelled  by public transport as it gets difficult to control the crowd.

Mohit Malik: I keep travelling in rickshaw whenever my driver is not available. In fact, last night I took a rickshaw while returning from a party. I boarded a local train a year ago with my brother. As we were in a rush we boarded a train to reach quickly. To avoid the crowd from gathering, I covered my face with a hanky.

Sana Amin Sheikh: During my collage and RJ days, I used to travel by trains and buses. More than trains, I find buses more convenient as I hate hopping platforms and boarding crowded trains. From the time I have bought my car, I have stopped travelling in buses as I always carry food, make up, vanity and clothes so it gets too tiring for me to travel by public transport.

Iqbal Khan: I keep travelling in auto rickshaws but haven’t boarded the local trains in a decade.  Actually, our public transport is the fastest mode of travel. If it's maintained, clean, and hygienic...I wouldn't mind travelling by it.

Let us know your experience on travelling in a public transport.
