#MonsoonSpecial: TV celebs jazz up monsoon style

 Rain Fashion
The weather may be gloomy, but we can brighten it up with our sartorial sense! Isn't it? Be it the peppy floaters, trendy wind-cheaters or colourful umbrellas, we can add the right pop to our wardrobe with these monsoon essentials. And who better than our favourite TV celebs to share their tips to keep you stylish this monsoon! Take a look: Aishwarya Sakhuja: The best part about monsoon is that I can wear my chappals on the street. The market is filled with uber cool and colourful footwear and umbrellas that can add a lot of quirk to your look. Avoid dresses as the breeze can cause some wardrobe malfunction (laughs). Capris and shorts should be your choice. Make-up should be light, just some blush, mascara and coloured lip balm. Shakti Arora: Shorts and tees are the coolest thing to wear in the rain. Carry some funky umbrellas and wear some colourful slippers too. One thing that I hate about the rain is that you can’t wear shades. I have a weakness for them and find excuses to wear them! I cannot wear it now unless there's a pair with wipers! Amit Gaur: One should use massive umbrellas, which also help if you have to take a cosy walk with your special one (winks). Leather shoes are a big no-no. Instead opt for colourful flipflops. Shorts and shirts are the best combination for this season. I am a cap person so it adds to the overall style. Wear some nice colourful shirts like mint and blue to brighten up your mood. Divyanka Tripathi: This season you can go trendy with capris, short skirts and shorts combined with stylish wind cheaters and rain coats. The season is all about fun, so dress up casually. Enjoy the rains, guys! Charu Mehra: Shorts and loose tees with sports shoes save your feet and keep you comfortable. Also playsuits, slouchy jeans with buckle side shoes, hunter boots and denim shorts with a shirt are great style statements. As for make-up, keep it light. Just add some mascara and lipstick, and you are done. Aparna Dixit: Wear colourfully cute raincoats! You could also experiment with gumboots, slippers, crocs, that are trendy and very affordable too. This is a season when girls should apply the least amount of make-up. One should also try wearing covered clothes to avoid the rain water from spoiling one's skin. Mohsin Khan: To be cool and trendy this monsoon, don’t wear anything below your knee. I always carry an extra shirt and some nice fancy umbrellas. Slippers are a must as it is comfortable, easy and looks funky. One thing that I have got a hang on is the ziplock to protect your phones. Abhishek Malik: I think neon colour is really cool these days. One can pair up it up with denims. Crocs are a must in the rain to keep your feet breezy. Add some funky wristbands for a cool look. And most importantly, don’t forget to carry your attitude as it will complete you. What are your tips to look stylish this season? Hit the comment box below to share your views!
