The much-awaited dance reality show of the year is back! Yay! It promises to be bigger, better, and grander. From pitting ace dancers against popular faces to brining in interesting themes, season 9 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, from the stables of BBC Worldwide , who owns the format and produces the show for Colors, might just turn out to be the best ever edition of the series. Contestants like ever before:

This year’s line-up is the stuff fantasies are made of as small screen’s most popular faces are participants like Arjun Bijlani, Shakti Arora, Helly Shah, Gaurav Gera, Surveen Chawla, Karishma Tanna, Nora Fatehi, Siddhant Gupta, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Salman Yusuff Khan, along with Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, and American-Indian dancing twins Priyanka and Poonam Shah. Now, if that doesn’t excite you, we really don’t know what will! 

Interesting format:

While the previous seasons were weekend fixes, JDJ 9 is only going to be aired on Saturdays, which means that the show will continue for a longer period for all to enjoy (Yipee).  That’s reason enough to love this show, right? Because we now have our Saturday nights booked with the stars… *wink* 

New set of judges:

This trio sure knows its job. From KJo’s knack for spotting talent via his larger-than-life imaginary lens to Ganesh Hegde’s choreography skills to Jacqueline Fernandez’s sizzling moves, every contestant would have to pull up his/her socks firmly this time. They will not only judge them on the technicalities, but also on the oomph and glam factor. Considering how high the bar has been set, can you afford to miss out on this season? Yep, didn’t think so. 

'Hot' Hai theme:

The theme itself is ‘hot’…so won’t the show be hotter? You bet it would be. The participants will sure up the hotness quotient with their dance routines and choreography. To be honest, Jackie is enough to do justice to the theme of the show. Say what, folks? 

High-octane competition:

The competition level is going to be legendary this time as trained dancers are being pitted against popular TV faces. It’s the clash of the titans as the one with the biggest fan following and epic entertainment factor would walk away with the big prize. In short, everybody has to bleed out on the dance floor.
