World Music Day was conceived by American musician Joel Cohen and marked an all-day musical celebration on the day of the summer solstice. On this day all amateur and professional singers across the globe gear up to perform and celebrate the festival and display their potential. The culture which was initially adapted as a national celebration in France, gained widespread recognition as music is a medium that connects people of all cultures.
