When it comes to saving the environment, the tinsel town is never behind. Celebrities believe in working for the cause. They quietly do their part in keeping the Earth clean and green. Also, the celebrity brigade urges their admirer and fans to do their bit and save Mother Nature.

On account of World Environment Day, TellyChakkar jots down a few eco-friendly warriors who try their best in keeping the environment pollution free. Have a look...

Rohan Gandotra: Here are some easy tips to save the environment. Don't waste water, switch off extra lights, avoid using plastic bags and recycle as much as you can. You can also add some plants to your home, use very little paper. These are the things which I try to do in my daily life.

What do you think of Rohan Gandotra?

Laksh: We can save the environment by starting at an individual level. We can also start cycling on a daily basis. Also, PUC for all the cars and bikes is a must to keep a tap on pollution. We can plant saplings for a greener environment. Also, keep your surroundings clean and don't throw wrappers on the streets.

Vivian Dsena: I don’t use plastic bags at all. Whenever I shop I ensure I carry my cloth bags. I make sure that garbage is thrown at the right place. Wet and dry garbage should be separated and spitting on the road should be a punishable offense. We can’t be polluting our roads. I am particular about getting PUC checked regularly too. Self-initiative is a must for every citizen. Taking care of our environment is our sole duty and we all must do our bit because after all, this Earth is our home.

What do you think of Vivian Dsena?
