Summer vacation is the time for fun and family time!! However every coin has a flip side. With summer comes humidity and the scorching heat. There comes a time during summer when one tends to go to a holiday resort to a cooler place to avoid the heat. Here is Tellychakkar.com touching base with few of the popular telly celebrities to know about their favourite holiday destination this summer. Thakur Anoop Singh: During summers my favorite destinations are chilled places like Kashmir and Ladakh, especially Kashmir. I visited Kashmir during Amarnath Yatra with my family and I love the place like anything. I am fond of the hills of Kashmir and I just like to sit there, watch sunset while sipping fresh lime soda. I like exploring places alone as it gives me some time to reflect upon my thoughts. All the calmness offered by these beautiful surroundings is quite exhilarating. Rachna Parulkar: New York is my ultimate summer destination. Summer in New York is also equally interesting just like the winters. It is the most chilled out and happening place. You get the best of food and clothes. Whenever I get a chance I go there with my family and friends. I am in love with the place. Mohit Malhotra: Miami is the place I like to visit during summers. I went there while I was studying in America and it was such a beautiful place. I love the beaches and the beauty it offers. Kratika Sengar: During summers, I like to visit Himachal and the surrounding areas. But more than that, I prefer staying at home in my room with the AC on. Karan Goddwani: My favourite destination, there are lots but I would like to visit Australia. Thanks to various channels like Nat Geo and Discovery, I have seen how fascinating the place really is. Everything about it attracts me, the beaches, the animals, the coastal areas, the hills and mountains, good tourist places to visit, food especially the milk products. I have heard that ice cream there is delicious. I am a complete nature person and I love to see the forest and animals. Also I have some good friends there. So I hope to go there soon. Pooja Gor: I don’t really get time to visit any hill stations or any cooler place especially during summers because I am working. Also I don’t want to go out of India as there are many beautiful places here. But if I get a chance I would run off to Gulmarg or Manali with my family. Those beautiful hills have always attracted me. It is so hot here in Mumbai. Abhinav Shukla: During my summer I want to go to Philippines again, especially to Ceramon islands and Tayak beach (Tayak means shark in Philippine language). The specialty of the place is that they are Virgin Islands and there is nobody around. The beach is surrounded by sea on one side and freshwater lakes on the other. The water there is really clean to swim. You can lie on the beach and get some nice tan. I am really a nature person and these islands have lots of fruits, crabs and lots of coconut water. That is the beauty of it. There are no can foods or any artificiality. Also behind the lake there is a wildlife sanctuary which is really fascinating. If I can, I would love to go there every year but you need special permission from the Philippine government. Really the place can be called the heaven on Earth. Aakanksha Singh: During summers I like to explore India, especially north. I haven’t had the opportunity yet but I want to see Shimla and Kashmir. I really want to see the snow and snowflakes. But even though I am enjoying my holidays, everyone else is working. If I get a chance I want to go to these places either with Kunal or my family. Folks, happy vacation this summer!!
